Hi, welcome!

This site is dedicated to a very special little girl called Jessica Marie, fondly known to loved ones and family as Baby Girl Maui.

This is baby Maui when she was about four years old.

Maui had a lot of birth problems. As an aftermath of seven brain surgeries in her first two years, she does not talk, sit, eat, or move significantly. She's like a living cute doll.

But she has an angelic smile, as you can see! and like an angel indeed, she turns to gold everything she touches -- our lives.

Maui was diagnosed also to have bilateral hearing loss, and that she only has light vision. Although, she knows when her Aunt Opie is around or not, and she wakes up at the sound of her voice. Hmmm looks like baby Maui has some out-of-this-world connection with her greatest fan, her Aunt Opie, or Tita Opie.

With baby Maui touching our lives, does she know, I wonder, how much we love her? Does she know how happy she makes, just to see her out of danger, living each day like an angel, smiling then sleeping?

Does she know that she is my source of strength when the trials are overwhelming? Does she know when I want to give up in life, the mere thought of her keeps me going?

If she does not know, if she cannot possibly know, I would like to invite her nurses, doctors, and friends to write here on this site the sweet experiences they have with this little girl, so that the world will know.

Baby Maui, the sweetest angel in our lives, we love you so much.
